Union Minister Pralhad Joshi lauds performance of National Test House

Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution Pralhad Joshi has commended the performance of the National Test House (NTH), India’s largest multidisciplinary industrial testing laboratory.

In a social media post, Mr Joshi said that the performance of NTH has been praiseworthy in recent years. The Minister also met the Director General of NTH, Dr Alok Kumar Srivastava, and directed the testing body to expand its ambit to include other sectors to create state-of-the-art testing centres across the country.

He added that testing assures quality, and hence NTH needs to create such world-class quality infrastructure to increase global competitiveness
