IMD Issues Orange Alert for Thunderstorms, Gusty Winds in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura

India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an orange alert for thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds at isolated places over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura tomorrow.

According to the IMD, similar weather conditions are likely to prevail over Jharkhand, Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Telangana, West Bengal and Sikkim during the next two days. The IMD has also predicted heavy rainfall over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya tomorrow.
