Somasekharan C. G is a dedicated social worker and motivational speaker whose life experiences have shaped his commitment to serving others. He is also a proud veteran of the Indian Navy, where he devoted an impressive 25 years of his life to the nation. Throughout his naval career, he was assigned to various warships, gaining invaluable experience and honing his skills in a demanding environment. His expertise was further recognized when he took on the role of a faculty member at the Naval Institute of Aeronautical Technology, where he shared his knowledge with aspiring naval personnel. In 2003, he played a pivotal role in the design and development of the Advanced Light Weight Helicopter (Naval Version), collaborating closely with Hindustan Aeronautics Limited. His unwavering dedication to duty, coupled with his exceptional skills, earned him numerous medals and letters of appreciation, which serve as a testament to his exemplary service and commitment to excellence in the armed forces.

After voluntarily retiring from the Indian Navy in October 2008, Somasekharan chose to channel his energy and passion into improving the lives of underprivileged children in his district. He currently serves as the President of Madhavam Balasadanam, a home dedicated to providing shelter, clothing, healthcare, and education to children in need. His compassion extends beyond the boys in his care; he also actively supports the education of several girls in his hometown, recognizing the importance of empowering young women. To further his mission, Somasekharan tirelessly raises funds with the help of friends and family, ensuring that those in need receive the medical treatment and support they require. His steadfast commitment to social welfare is evident in every initiative he undertakes, as he strives to create a better future for the vulnerable members of society.
