Vote counting for Maharashtra District Councils & Panchayat Samitis elections to be held today
In Maharashtra, the counting of votes for the election to 12 district councils and 125 Panchayat Samitis across the state will be held today. China has reaffirmed its support for Iran’s stability, stressing that Beijing consistently opposes interference in the internal affairs of sovereign states and the use or threat of force in international relations. TVK chief Vijay reaches CBI headquarters in connection with Karur stampede tragedy
Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam (TVK) chief and actor Vijay has reached the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters in New Delhi in connection with the probe into the Karur stampede tragedy. The incident claimed the lives of 41 people. The stampede occurred in September last year, during a massive gathering organised by the TVK to welcome actor-turned-politician and the party’s founder, Vijay.
